Almost caught up!

Pictures from our brief stay in London. Here's a shot from a bridge in a park near Buckingham palace.
The obligatory picture of the palace.
A shot from a bridge over the Thames.
What a tourist!

Animals!

It was lambing season while we were in Wales! These belonged to our farm's neighbors.
This bird is really weird looking...
Pelicans in London!

More Day Trips

The ruins of the castle at Aberystwith. Apparently it was only used for a very short time in the 14th century before it was left to fall into ruins.
The seaside port of Aberystwith.
Some cool cliffs!
I don't know about you, but I love looking at this town!
Britain's longest electric cliffside railway!

Day trips

We visited Cardigan and walked along the river Teifi to the ruins of the monastery at St. Dogmael's.

Josh contemplating some interesting looking chickens and the chickens doing the same?
We hiked along the gorge trail at the Welsh Wildlife Center in Cilgarren.

Massive photo update

I really let the photos pile up, so now it's time to discharge them all at once! Enjoy!

Here's a series of photos of what we did at our farm in Wales.

We dug a trench!
Built a woodshed!
Carted up leaf mould to cover a new garden plot!
Built a water collection system!
Built four raised beds for the new garden!
It was a lot of construction work, but I feel like we learned the most from this farm. I feel it was a huge pity that we only spent two weeks at Gerallt. I would have liked to have spent two months there, especially with the good weather we had!
